Please amend the L/C as follows:
1) "Messre ．J．Handerson & Co." should read "Chartered Bank, New York, USA"．
2)"US$ 51,500(SAY US DOLLARS FIFTY-ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ONLY)"

Based on the great improvement in economic returns in the manufacturing sector, the quality and efficiency of economic operations improved in the first half of this year．From January to August, after counterbalance of accumulated gains and losses, profits by industrial producers registered RMB 167 billion yuan, increasing by 30.4 per cent, of which profits by State-owned enterprises and those held by the state were 90.5 billion yuan, up by 31.5 percent．Losses in losing enterprises were RMB 54.6 billion yuan, down by 10.4%．Meanwhile, the overall economic composition of the national economy improved.
2) From Chinese into English: (10%)
