我们已收到你方7月23日的传真，对将次等品发给你方表示道歉，我们一直引以为豪的是:我们的质量管理不比任何人的差。但是看来在你方这批货上我们肯定出了疏漏。
为纠正错误，我们已将所有的你方不满意的货物安排了替代品，并把这些替代品装上了船，同时，我们要求你方把“Softouch”牌衬衫“和Warmild”牌衬衫各一件，及“Smartex”牌和“Colorich”牌衬衫各两件用快件邮寄过来，交由我们厂家检验，费用由我们支付。我们同意你方在传真中说的，将剩余的衬衫按低于20%的价格出售。

We have received your fax of July 23,and must straight apologize for sending you goods of inferior quality．We have always prided ourselves that our quality control is second to none; however, we certainly seem to have slipped up badly with your consignment.
To put the matter right we have shipped replacement for all the items you have found unsatisfactory and would ask you to send us by express mail at our expense one each of the “Softouch” and “Warmild” and two each of the “Smartex” and “Colorich” shirts for our factory manager to examine．We agree to your selling the remainder of the shirts indicated in your fax at 20%below list price．
