Alex: Oh man．．．it´ s really not my day!
Santra: What´ s up?
Alex: You have no idea! I woke up late because I didn´t hear my alarm．．．then I realized I´ d forgotten to pick up my suit from the dry cleaner´ s．
Sandra: So you rushed out of the apartment to get your suit, and．．．?
Alex: I closed the door without taking my keys!
Sandra: So, you were locked out of your apartment?
Alex: Yep．．．but that was only the beginning of my troubles． I was running late for work, so I took a taxi． I got here 45 minutes late and had no choice but to wear this pair of sports shoes． The boss gave me a funny look when I came in．．．so who knows? Maybe I´ll get fired today!
Sandra: You poor thing! You´re really having a bad day!
Alex: But it got worse! As soon as I sat down at my desk, I noticed my wallet(钱包) was missing !
Sandra: You left it in the taxi?
Alex: No． I paid the taxi driver with the money from my wallet．
Sandra: So．．．?
Alex: Just as I was walking from the taxi to the front door of our office building, a man bumped into(撞上) me． I guess a thief stole my wallet．

In the morning，he got up late as he didn’t hear his alarm clock．After that，he just realized he forgot to pick up his suit from the dry-cleaning shop． Then he hurriedly rushed to the shop but he did not take his keys． As a result of that, Alex was 45 minutes late when he arrived at his office even if he took a taxi, and his boss gave him a funny face looking at the sports shoes he wore． Finally, he could not find his wallet and realized that it might be stolen by a man who bumped into him while he was walking from the taxi to the front door of his office building．
