In a world where information floods due to the advancement of information technology, we tend to be distracted by the overwhelming resources available.
Admittedly, the information age has brought us much convenience as we can promptly have access to an abundance of resources that we need. Nevertheless, it is just the information explosion that makes us confused and annoyed. For instance, when we look for something online, a large quantity of irrelevant and useless information pops out at once, such as commercial advertisements and vulgar entertainment news, which prevents us from concentrating on what we should do, making it inefficient to carry out a task and thus causing a waste of time.
In light of the seriousness of the problem, much attention should be paid to avoid being distracted. For one thing, we should have a very clear idea of what we want to do.
